Food that boost Metabolism

The process of digesting the food to energy is termed as  metabolism.  In this process calories from food and drinks (like juice coffee etc) are combined with oxygen to release the energy body needs to function.

This energy is needed even when a person is resting in bed, for breathing, blood circulation, and brain function etc.

Metabolism and its speed depends on the size of the body sex and age of the person and several other factors like the food eaten and physical activity.

Diet and food that provide real balanced and healthy choices also help to speed up metabolism.  Low density foods vegetables and fruits and lean and natural protein are best choices.

A high metabolism does not support a big body, whereas a leaner body helps to burn food faster and provide energy to the body.

However metabolism can be maintained to burn more calories, by eating the right foods and maintaining a perfect exercise routine.

How to Boost Metabolism

1.  Physical Activity    Always rated as most important for a fast metabolism.  Simple exercises like walking swimming to aerobics all bring results and help speed up metabolism.

2.  A diet that is balanced in nutrition   Natural food works the best.  Fruits and vegetables along with healthy protein, nuts and seeds for snacks and etc will help boost the metabolism.

3.  Eat regularly  Portion sized meals through out the day produce a better and high metabolism by burning all sugars for better health and a slimmer body.

4.  Protein and nutritious food  Make sure to add protein and iron rich foods to the meals for a higher metabolism.

5.  Vegetables and fruits   Have six to eight servings of vegetables and fruits everyday for all the minerals and and necessary nutrition needed for health and a high metabolism.

6.  Vitamin D  Make sure to add lots of vitamin D products to the diet as it helps to boost the metabolism.  Exercise outdoor helps to achieve this goal too as direct sunshine also supplies vitamin D.

7  Green tea and Coffee  Green tea boosts metabolism.  Green tea is supposed to be slimming the mid section of the body too.
